Cliff Joseph: Artist and Activist

A retrospective exhibition of work by African American artist Cliff Joseph (1922-2020), whose painting, Blackboard, was included in Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963-1983 which originated in London at Tate Modern and traveled to the States via Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, February 3 - April 23, 2018; The exhibition ran through 2020 - ending a phenomenal run at the Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts.
